Dave’s attention to detail is unmatched. I’ve have dealt with tons of framers/construction companies in the past. Dave is the most honest of them all , and the work speaks for itself. A few extra unforeseen things came up in the addition project that would have blown my budget had Dave not been an honest great business owner. There was an opportunity to make a lot more money as I had no choice but to take care of the issues and instead he worked with me , gave me options , and completely underbid the extra work. In his words “fixing these problems is the right thing to do, I wouldn’t want to put my name on the project with band aid fixes”. I’ve never met a contractor to be that honest and proud of his work. I would recommend him a million times over , in fact I have and will continue to do.

Sunlit Transformation: Skylight Expertise in Hampstead by The Clemens Group LLC

For this project, our team carefully framed two openings, aligned with the existing windows, to accommodate the installation of two VELUX skylights. To complete the work efficiently in just two days, we executed the following steps: Prepared the space by establishing a containment area and applying floor protection to safeguard the rest of the home from dust and debris. Exposed the roof framing by removing the drywall and trimming back the rafters to create room for the new skylight openings. Installed new headers, sills, and additional rafters to reinforce the structure and properly frame the skylight openings. Stripped the roofing around the new openings, installed the skylights and flashing, and meticulously matched the existing shingles to blend seamlessly with the rest of the roof. Repaired and finished the drywall before applying a fresh coat of paint to the ceiling, restoring its appearance. We trust that these new skylights will provide our clients with an abundance of natural light and years of enjoyment, offering both warmth and a boost of vitamin D.
